How to Join
If you are thinking of trying bowls there are a couple of ways you can get in touch.
If you are new to bowling and want to give it a try, contact Ray McIntyre (raymond@devonanddorsetproperties.com) and come to one of our Thursday evening taster sessions.
If you want to learn some bowling lingo before you give it a go, have a little look at this Bowls Basics page.
If you just want to join then complete the Application Form, you will be required to pay for the club annual subscription fee alongside your chosen membership.
Below you can find the various membership option and prices:
Non-Member Fees
Green Fees 1 Hours
This is the fee for anyone who is not a full or social playing member for use of a rink for 1 hour.

Green Fees 2 Hours
This is the fee for anyone who is not a full or social playing member for use of a rink for 2 hours.

Outdoor Membership
Full PLaying Member
Full playing members may take part in all sections including Domestic, National, Dorset County and Bournemouth & District competitions, leagues and matches. This covers green fees and may be used at any of the Poole Borough Greens, subject to availability.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Club members may play Lawn Bowls (socially) subject to payment of rink green fees. Members may also join in any activities arranged by the Social Secretary e.g. fun days and other internal events. * Only an Annual subscription is required, no other membership fees apply.

Poole Access to Leisure (ATL) Member
This is Poole's discount scheme that allows disabled people, people on low incomes and those in full-time education (16+) to take part in leisure and sports activities at reduced rates.

Youth (Student) Outdoor Member
Youth members (Students) do not need to pay the Annual subscription fee.

Short Mat Membership
Short mat member
Short mat members may partcicpate in all social bowling activities of the Short Mat Section. This includes affiliation to ESMBA to play in the Dorset League.

General Fees
Locker Fee
One off cost for a locker while you are a member of the bowls club.

CLUB ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION
Entitles the member to access the Club House facilities and join in with the Club's Social Activities.
